My Go-To Hair Product

Well actually, I have two hair products. But two is better than one! I have naturally curly hair, so curl-enhancer type products are obviously a must. The first is the African Pride Shea-Butter Curl Pudding . This is just an absolute favorite of mine! It gives the best curls for me. It keeps them soft and frizz free the whole time (and still looks pretty good the next day, too) The second is the Cantu Curl Activator Cream . I've found that this is more for kinky-curly hair than my type. It's all natural and keeps your curls bouncy and full of volume. What a Time to be Alive!

Is anyone else just so in love with the fact that this whole fitness trend is so popular? I mean, nowadays you just see so many women in the gym really grinding it out when before only few even had the thought cross their mind (at least to me). It’s just so beautifully empowering! Update!

Hi!! Sorry it took me a while to update! I’ve recently just gotten back from a trip up north to visit family. IT WAS SO COLD! If you’re like me and you’re a little too used to being in warm weather, you’ll understand my pain (heck, I’m pretty sure you understand even if you don’t live in warm weather). I even caught a cold while I was there so now my voice is all raspy :( However , there was an upside to all this: I finally had the chance to wear my new Madison boots from So Enticing (as well as the other 90% of my wardrobe) They were so comfortable and easy to walk in through the snow. I was a little sad when I had to put them back in my closet. Still, I’d rather stay in my warm weather than wear the boots any day!

My Haul from Lolli Couture!

I got such a STEAL from Lolli Couture that I just had to tell you all about! First, I found this beautiful dusty rose-pink dress down in the Just In page! I browsed the store a bit more and found this cute black leather purse . Then I decided to get a pair of shoes (because why not) and I found the most gorgeous champagne-colored ankle boot heels !! And just as I was about to leave, I saw this white faux-leather jacket that was on sale for 80% off!! Am I lucky or what?

My Skin is so Clear!

My skin has been getting so much better since I’ve started using this black mask !  It was a little weird for me the first time I put it on. It almost felt like I was putting tar on my face. And it’s so hard to resist scratching your face when you have the mask on >_< Taking it off SUCKED for me! I felt like I was pulling my own skin off. Ironically, this is what happens when you use the mask. And no , I don’t mean that you actually pull off all your skin, just the dead skin on the surface of your face. This gives your skin a cleaner and brighter glow! Anyway, my skin has been so much clearer this past week. New Blog Name!

Hello, everyone!! I decided to change the name of my blog. I was in a rush to get this blog started in the beginning, so I went with the first name that came to my head. Later on I found it a little... odd, I guess? I'm sure you have too. Besides, it didn't really fit well with what I actually talk about. Which brings us here now!
